Small Hydro Power Plant – Jelovica 2 represents smallest sHPP on this waterflow. To keep proven high quality level of construction works that we have on our other sHPPs, Bemax Podgorica as company that was our partner on all previous projects, executed construction of this sHPP. Hydromechanical equipment is installed by proven Austrian company in production of turbines Geppert GMBH that was our partner on the projects sHPPJezerstica, sHPP Orah and sHPP Sekular. GRP materials for penstock are procured from Turkish company SuborBoru. Middle voltage facility and control system for this project is purchased by Sintaksa Split that was our partner on all of our plants and provided us with highest quality of equipment and service. Considering this sHPP as our smallest production facility on this waterflow, we still find Jelovica 2 as important part of our production system because it represents the farthest connection point in the catchment of river Bistrica.
After construction of sHPP Jelovica 2 and installation of the equipment for safe power generation from this facility, this plant became operational in March 2019. Commissioning of this plant is also important because provides operation of sHPP Jezerstica in the full installed capacity, because sHPP Jelovica 2 contains equipment that provides safe connection of sHPP Jezerstica.
After construction of sHPP Jelovica 2 and installation of the equipment for safe power generation from this facility, this plant became operational in March 2019.
